100 Days | 100 Blocks – The First 25 Days

Posted on June 1, 2017June 1, 2017 by Bonnie

I mentioned last month that I was considering joining in the 100 Days 100 Blocks Instagram Challenge again. I knew that if I did it a second time, I wanted to do a themed quilt of sorts. I tossed around a few different ideas, and then settled on a red theme. I LOVE red!!

I’m using red and primarily red fabrics for each block and accenting them with creams and grays. Here are each of the first 25 blocks. (You can click each photo for a larger view.) Be sure to scroll all the way down for a glimpse of all 25 together:

And, here’s a glimpse at how the first 25 blocks look together:
Just 75 blocks to go! If you’d like to follow along, you can find me on Instagram right here. What do you think so far?

Love the colors! Can you tell me how much fabric it took? I’d like to use fat quarters but have no idea how many to buy and am afraid of running out of specific fabrics.
