Every baby deserves something mama-made, right? Our oldest daughter, Morgan, found out a few weeks ago that the little one she is expecting is a girl! (After three boys in a row in this family, we’re all pretty excited about having a bit of an excuse for pink and ruffles.) Easter Sunday, last week was a bit overcast and rainy, so Morgan and I spent the late afternoon in my sewing studio working on this sweet little Itty Bitty Baby Dress.
The expectant mama did a lot of the sewing herself (and daddy hung out with us watching over her shoulder, too).
Do you think it fits?
I’m sure this is just the beginning of what will be quite a bit of baby girl sewing for our granddaughter . . . just have to get those summer wardrobes finished for the boys first!
Totally adorable, and well done Morgan!
It’s SO cute! WTG, Morgan! Baby girls are so much fun to make things for. Can’t usually get away with putting a boy in those cute colors 😉
So cute! Congrats to her!
Love it.
Love it! she did such a good job! Like mother, like daughter! :O)
I love it! Oh, you two are going to have so much fun sewing for a little girl!
How wonderful! I had seen that pattern before but hadn’t made it yet. You’ve inspired me to try it! BTW, where did you get your clothing labels?
Oh, I could just cry. That is so sweet.
Lovely! Bonnie, how can you already be expecting a grandchild?? Your whole family is so adorable!
