It’s Day 6 of the Jersey Love Blog Tour! Today, we’re visiting Caroline at Sew Can She and Suzanne at Making More with Less for their versions of the Runaround Pants and the Beachcomber Dress! My talented friend (and another of my nearby neighbors), Caroline, gathers tutorials from sewing bloggers around the world and shares a new one daily on the Sew Can She website. On her blog, though, she shares some pretty amazing tutorials of her own! Some of my personal favorites include this Quick Oilcloth Table Cloth, the Snappy Coin Pouch, the 3-Ring Zipper Pouch and this How-to for Sewing on Patches. She even has a super tutorial for How to Write a Super Tutorial! She also has a brand-new-to-her, beautiful Sewing Studio with a pretty cool story that you just have to go read to believe!Caroline sewed a pair of Runaround Shorts for her son. Go check them out by clicking on the sneak peek picture below.I “met” Suzanne and her sister, Alisa, years ago when I participated in their Mending Week challenge, and I’ve loved keeping up with them since. The two of them blog together at Making More with Less where they share beautiful sewing projects of all sorts! Their quilts are gorgeous, like this Going in Circles Quilt made by Alisa and this Cheerful Children’s Quilt sewn by Suzanne. Their other sewing projects are just as lovely, like this Wall Organizer and this sweet Bow Pillow complete with how-to tutorial! Occasionally, they share creative projects outside of sewing, too. Alisa’s Frugal Kitchen Transformation is a perfect (and impressive!) example. For the Jersey Love Blog Tour, Suzanne sewed two Beachcomber Dresses, one for each of her daughters. To see both of them, just click on this photo:
Thank you so much for having me Bonnie – I love your patterns and am so happy that this could be my introduction to them! No I just need to get these boys of mine closer to being potty trained so that I can make them some little fishies!!!
